MVGR Unveils a Newly Upgraded Canteen: A Fresh, Vibrant Addition to Campus Life

MVGR College of Engineering proudly inaugurated its newly upgraded canteen on 30th November 2025, marking a major enhancement to the campus experience for students, faculty, and visitors. The transformed space now features a modern dining atmosphere, expanded seating, improved amenities, an enhanced and diversified menu offering, and an exciting new addition — Chill Fill, a fruit juice and ice-cream hub.

The upgraded canteen was inaugurated by Smt. Pusapati Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapathi Raju Garu, our beloved Madam and Hon’ble MLA of Vizianagaram. The event was graced by Prof. K. V. L. Raju, Correspondent – MANSAS, along with Heads of various MANSAS institutions, making the occasion even more special.

A Major Step Forward in Student Amenities

The canteen renovation project, carried out with a total investment of about ₹1.75 crores, has brought multiple enhancements:

✔ Expanded Seating & Better Facilities

  • Seating capacity increased to 288, with provision to extend up to 350 to meet future needs.
  • Dedicated space for faculty members.
  • Improved layout for better movement, comfort, and dining experience.

✔ Introduction of ‘Chill Fill’

A brand-new outlet offering:

  • Fresh fruit juices
  • Ice creams
  • A wide variety of refreshing beverages
    This addition has quickly become a favourite student hangout spot.

✔ Aesthetic Greenery & Landscape Upgrades

A newly designed garden landscape in front of the Chill-Fill adds a refreshing and eco-friendly touch, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for everyone.
