MANSAS Founder’s Day Celebrated At MVGR – Blood Donation Camp

Seeds of education in Vijayanagaram had been sown with the foundation of  Middle School by Vijayarama Gajapati III on March 3, 1856, which marked the beginning of the educational saga in MANSAS.

As a mark of this, MANSAS Founder’s Day was celebrated at MVGR College of Engineering. On this occasion, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Student Federation of Youth, Vijaya Blood Bank and New Life Blood Center under the auspices of MVGR NSS and NCC Units. More than 300 students and staff volunteered to donate blood.

MANSAS Chairman Sri Pusapati Ashok Gajapati Raju visited the camp and congratulated the students and staff on their voluntary donation of blood to the noble cause of thalassemia patients who needs to be transfused the blood every month as their body makes low amount of hemoglobin.  He also advised the students to participate extensively in such activities and develop a sense of service. The event was graced by MANSAS Correspondent and MVGR Principal Dr. KVL Raju Garu, Dean Students S Mohan Kumar, NSS Program Officer N Shanmukha Rao, NCC students and NSS volunteers. All the donors are issued certificates and 1 lakh health cum term  insurance by the organizers.
