Teacher’s Day Celebrations at MVGRCE (A), Vizianagaram
MVGR College of Engineering (Autonomous), under the aegis of MECWATS and MANSAS, celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 6th, 2025 at the Admin Seminar Hall with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was organized to honor the invaluable contributions of teachers and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India and a distinguished teacher.
The program began with the assembling of faculty members followed by opening remarks by Dr. B. Srinivas. A soulful prayer song set a devotional tone for the celebrations. Dignitaries including Prof. P. S. Sitharamaraju, Director, Prof. YMC Sekhar, Principal, and Dr. TANSN Varma, President, MECWATS, were warmly welcomed onto the dais.
The traditional lighting of the lamp marked the formal inauguration of the ceremony. The dignitaries delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting the role of teachers in shaping students’ futures and contributing to the growth of the institution.
A highlight of the event was the felicitation of faculty members who completed 25 years of dedicated service at the college. The honored faculty were:

This was followed by the distribution of medals to faculty who recently completed their Ph.D. degrees, recognizing their academic excellence and commitment to research. The awardees included:
